  • Gentry Band Make History

Posted by Christine Spurling on 5/17/2018

The 8th grade band competed at Worlds of Fun on Saturday and had a great day! Not only did they receive unanimous 1 ratings for the first time in school history at this festival, but also finished 2nd place in their division and 2nd place overall with a total of 40 middle and high school bands competing from Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. It was a VERY tight finish between Gentry and the 1st place finisher in our division, who also took sweepstakes for the weekend. We are very proud of the kids!!
