  • Beulah Ralph Elementary School principal announced

    Seth Woods will be recommended to the Columbia Board of Education to become the principal at Beulah Ralph Elementary School. Woods will take over the role from current Principal Tim Majerus who announced his retirement last month. Woods has been the assistant principal at Beulah Ralph since 2015 when the school opened.

  • New middle school principal announced

    Jimmy Hale will be recommended to the Columbia Board of Education to become the principal at the new middle school is south Columbia. He has been the assistant principal at Jefferson Middle School since 2013. He will transition into the principal role this summer and will spend the 2019‐2020 school year working on the operations and activities associated with opening a brand new school. The new school is set to open in fall of 2020.

  • Center of Responsive Education leadership announcement

    Tina Woods will be recommended to the Columbia Board of Education to become the director at the Center of Responsive Education for the 2019‐20 school year. The Center of Responsive Education (CORE) houses the Quest and Connections programs, as well as districtwide staff, including autism support, community skills support, districtwide behavior support, and other special programs. Woods will take the reins from Connie Divine, who announced her retirement earlier this school year.
