•  Social Emotional Behavioral Services

If a Special Education Evaluation determines the need for behavior services, an ECSE Behavior Consultant may provide direct services to the students in the classroom, direct services during 1 on 1 therapy session, and/or consultation to the classroom team.

If children do not have behavior services but demonstrate extreme behaviors in the classroom, ECSE Behavior Consultants also conduct individual child observations, complete Functional Behavior Assessments, write Behavior Improvement Plans, provide one on one crisis intervention, modeling, and coaching for teachers, as well as train staff (and other programs) on PBS discipline approach including behavior management techniques.
