CPS Messages: Columbia Public Schools' parent and community communications system, ParentLink, has been acquired by Blackboard. The system allows Columbia Public Schools and your child's school to communicate with you via phone, text, and e-mail.
Guardians can create a user ID and password to access the portal, which allows them to view messages sent, view their contact information, adjust contact settings, see attendance information, and much more. Additionally, members of the community can sign up to receive text updates and news information about the school district and/or specific school buildings.
Columbia Public Schools also has a mobile application that guardians can download to their smart device to access information from their child's school, the school district, and individualized information from their child's teacher.
Obtaining a CPS Messages ID and password
Guardians
Your CPS Messages ID and password are the same ID and password you use to access Home Access. Home Access allows parents and students to view student registration, scheduling, attendance, and grade information. If you are new to the school district or have not yet created a Home Access ID and password, you can do so by registering here. Once you have created your ID and password, you can log in to CPS Messages via the school district's mobile application or the Web.Community Members
Community members can also create a CPS Messages account by visiting the CPS Messages login page and clicking on the signup button. Sign up to receive e-mail and text message updates from Columbia Public Schools.Contact Us
