CPS Business Education

  • The role of business  education is to "prepare students to become knowledgeable and ethical decision makers as they fulfill their roles as consumers, workers, and citizens in an increasingly global environment" (National Standards for Business Education, 2013).

Business education helps students develop skills in finance, information systems, computer applications, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, and economics. It provides instruction about the business world that is a necessary component for students to become contributing citizens capable of making intelligent and informed economic and consumer decisions.
