NOTE: For best results, download the pdf form to your desktop prior to entering information.
While the Board of Education prohibits audio and visual recordings on district property, district transportation or at a district activity unless authorized by policy, it has been determined that Student Teachers may videotape demonstration lessons when required as part of the process to achieve teacher certification.
Consent of the parent/guardian is required. Demonstration lessons will be supervised by the Supervising Teacher. The videotape will be sent to a third party reviewer as part of a required process to achieve teacher certification. The demonstration lesson will occur outside the school day to avoid any disruption to students’ learning.
See Columbia Public Schools Board Policy KKB. Please review the entire policy to assure compliance and understanding.
