Greetings fellow 6^th grade lit lovers!  My name is  Lisa Cunningham and I am excited to begin John Warner MS at its grand opening year!  I look forward to meeting you and working with our families!  I am beginning my 25^th year of teaching for CPS.  Through my time as a teacher with CPS I have taught every grade from 2^nd to 6^th, plus 9^th grade ELA.   

I am a native mid-Missourian and I have two children and a spoiled dog named Poppins.  When I am not teaching, you can find me reading, gardening, cooking, sewing, or watching baseball or hockey.

I am a book lover and if you don’t have a favorite book or author, it will be my pleasure to search for that just right book with you.  I look forward to beginning my literacy journey with you at John Warner as we express ourselves though reading and writing!
