  • Hello! My name is Shayla Howell. This is my 2nd year teaching Art at JMS and my 10th year teaching over all. I am originally from Kansas City, MO but graduated from Mizzou, GO TIGERS!

    In my free time I like to garden, I have many plants in my classroom, and taking care of my chickens. I also enjoy camping and hiking. In June I attend the Teton trips in WY. When I am not outdoors I enjoy creating. In addition, I am a fibers artist and painter. 

    I teach STEAM Modern Art (Murals) and 6th, 7th and 8th grade art.
