Welcome scholars and families to West Middle School, the home of the Vikings!
My name is Mrs. Carter Partise. I am a 6th grade Science teacher! I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Wildlife Sciences and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction (specializing in Middle School Science). I also received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mizzou in 2014. I have taught at Macon Middle School and online for the University of Missouri. I worked in health care before deciding to return to teaching! Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, gardening, decorating, and spending time with my husband, family and friends. My husband, Johnny and I are new parents! Our daughter Sovanna is 5 months old! We have two dogs named Molly and Enzy! We have three cats named Bear, Benjus, and Callie. In addition, we have a western painted water turtle named Darwin! I love all animals and enjoy being outside in nature. I love Colorado and vacation there to see one of my best friends and to explore the amazing scenery of the Rocky Mountains.
I am SOOO excited to meet everyone and cannot wait to have fun this year in Science! b
Below you will find some pictures, the first one is my mom and my daughter Sovanna, the next one is my husband and I on our wedding day, the next one is of my husband and I with my daughter when she was first born, 5 days old! Next is a collage of my daughter when she was 5 days old and one picture when I was pregnant with her. Below that is my husband in Rocky Mountain National Park on our honeymoon.
