Columbia Public Schools Library Media Programs work daily to meet the needs of all CPS students. We believe that our library programs serve as a way for students to learn about the world – as both a window and mirror – through literature and modern media such as film, podcasts and other digital resources. As a group of professional school librarians, we are using the Project Ready framework designed at the University of North Carolina (https://ready.web.unc.edu) to analyze our practices and policies to ensure equity across the district. You can find information about our professionals and programs at the Library Media Programs website.
