    Hello!!

    My name is Maggie Hunter and I am thrilled to be a Two Mile 2nd grade teacher for this school year.  This will be my eleventh year teaching and I absolutely love it.  I have taught everything from 1st-4th grade.   I feel so lucky to be at TMP and am a proud prairie dog.

     I am originally from Boonville, Missouri but have always been a Columbia girl at heart.  I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Missouri and am a tiger fan to the core.  I have two dogs, two cats, a husband, and a 5-year-old that make my life VERY interesting! J  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends, shopping, and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs.  I look forward to building a classroom full of students that are hardworking and eager to learn.

     I am excited for a wonderful year! My goal is to build learners that have all the tools they need to persevere through problems and question the world around them.  Let’s get started!
