CPS Home School Communicator Mike Woods Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund
-
Mike Woods was a 1984 Rock Bridge High School graduate and earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Criminal Justice and Administration. He began working for Columbia Public Schools in 2007 and was the Homeschool Communicator at Rock Bridge High School.
Mike had the ability to make everyone smile. He was quite the comedian and loved to make others laugh. He also enjoyed music, traveling, cooking, spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. Mike was loved not only by his family but every student he encountered over the years. He will be remembered for his generosity, kind heart, and loving spirit.
Funds will be used to assist a Columbia Public Schools' MAC Scholar in their pursuit of post-secondary educational and career goals.
