Preschool Enrollment and Orientation

All children must complete a developmental screening and be determined eligible, before being offered placement in a preschool classroom. Registration for enrollment must be completed in the office of the designated school before beginning school.  In addition to enrollment, parents/guardians must attend an orientation session with their child and the child’s teacher.  Orientation helps to ease the child’s transition to a new setting.  Parents and children meet the teachers, tour the classroom and school and are shown their cubbies to use during the school year.  This is an opportunity for teachers to share important information about school and an opportunity for parents to ask questions about the program.  Children may not attend school until completing the enrollment process and attending orientation.
