About Mr. Dresden: Received an art education degree from William Woods University in 2009, and also focused on Studio Art while attending. Discovering a passion for the arts at a later stage in life, I decided to focus primarily on drawing and painting, particularly with the figure. Some of the most challenging elements in the world of art are to capture a person’s true being or essence, thus making the figure a very challenging and rewarding test. Upon graduation, I started an MFA program at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, but quickly decided on taking a year to explore the educational road instead of continuing to be a student. I attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville for a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Art. I am now currently teaching art at the high school level and using my degree, but within the near future I plan to be working and creating in the comic book industry.
