Frederick Douglass High School:  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 for it's significance to Black History and Culture.  (Reference number 80002310) (Columbia Public Schools)

Second Missionary Baptist Church:  Built in 1894, this historically Black church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
