Facilities and Construction Services

The Columbia Public Schools Facilities and Construction Services department provides many services related to the school district's buildings, including building and ground maintenance, construction management, and engineering and energy management. Among the department's many components are the paint shop, a specialized maintenance shop, mechanical services, and the carpenter's shop, which includes locksmiths and roofers. Facilities services over 300 square miles, 44 buildings with 3.1 million square feet of floor space.
