Payments & Prices

Columbia Public Schools Nutrition Services provides a computerized debit system for student meal accounts. Students may deposit money into their account to pay for breakfast and lunch, or may pay cash daily. If you would like to block or limit your child’s spending, please contact your school cafeteria or the Nutrition Services office at 573-214-3480.

All deposits made at school must include a completed Cafeteria Deposit Form (PDF).

Online Meal Payments

Parents and guardians can view account activity and add funds using a credit or debit card through MySchoolBucks (opens in new tab).

If an item is not listed, it may not be sold a la carte. Items on the menu may be sold a la carte on the day of service. All a la carte items sold in Nutrition Services adhere to USDA Smart Snack guidelines.

Refunds

If your child is no longer enrolled in Columbia Public Schools, please contact the Nutrition Services office at 573-214-3480, email lunch@cpsk12.org, or visit 1818 W Worley to request one of the following options:

Transfer: Transfer the remaining balance to another student or divide it among multiple students.
Refund: Refunds under $10 will be issued in cash. Refunds over $10 will be issued as a district check and mailed to the guardian’s address upon request.

Sharing Information Release Form

Dear Parent/Guardian: To save you time and effort, the information you gave on your Free and Reduced Price School Meals Family Application may be shared with other programs for which your child(ren) may qualify. For the following programs, we must have your permission to share your information. Sending in this form will not change whether your child(ren) get free or reduced price meals. This consent authorizes Columbia Public Schools to release and/or obtain records or information as identified below. The agency/institution/individual listed below must maintain the confidentiality of the records/information.

can be stopped at any time by sending a written request to Columbia Public Schools, Nutrition Services.
takes effect the day I sign it and is valid for one year.

I further understand:

That any records or information received by the school district from another agency/institution/individual may not be protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) but will become education records and information protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Provision of this authorization is voluntary.
A copy of this release form is as valid as an original.
