Important Information for Technology Purchases
Welcome to our Technology Purchasing Guidelines! Please take a moment to read through the following information to ensure your technology purchases align with our processes and policies.
Purchasing Process
- Mandatory Use of Online Purchasing Site: All technology purchases, including printers, must go through our designated online purchasing system. Devices bought outside this process cannot be connected to our network.
- Support Limitations for Outside Purchases: Printers and devices obtained through grants, PTA donations, or any external sources (including specialized laptops and printers) will only receive limited support from our team. This means that while we will try our best to assist, there may be restrictions.

Equipment for New Classrooms
- Ordering Equipment: For new technology equipment, especially for outfitting new classrooms, you can submit requisitions through our online purchasing system.
- Specific Ordering Instructions:
- Smartboards and Clear Touch Panels: Use the fund source “New Classroom Capital” when ordering Smartboards for classrooms approved by Business Services.
- Other Devices: For all other technology items (like computers, monitors, projectors, etc.), please use your building account code as the fund source.
