Welcome to Melissa Gavin's page!

Hello, my name is Melissa Gavin. I am a first year teacher at Benton STEM Elementary. I have the joy to be teaching 3rd grade this year.

I graduated from Illinois State University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and certifications in Language Arts & Science for middle school.

I have been in Columbia for almost 4 years and look forward to many more years here. I am also a very proud parent of three children of my own. Their ages are 28, 18, and 12.
