Hi! My name is Dr. Maria Silvia Sarais, and I am a Latin teacher at CPS. I was born and raised in Italy, I went to the University of Cagliari (Italy) to study Classics and received the equivalent of an American B.A. and M.A. in Classics, and I moved in the Columbia area in 2006 where I started my graduate education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I have an M.A. in Classical Languages and a PhD in Classical Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and I'm very passionate about the ancient world, and everything that has to do with ancient Greece and Rome! I teach Latin and Intro to Mythology.
