Welcome to Andrew Materer's page!

I have been an instructor in Columbia Public schools for almost 20 years.

I was head tennis coach for 7 years at Hickman before having the exciting opportunity to teach at Battle.

I teach English 11, which focuses on the American Experience and Literature. I also teach English 10 World Literature.

I grew up in Columbia, MO and attended Mizzou where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degree.

I truly love living in Columbia, being active in sports, and teaching my amazing students at Battle High.
