Welcome to Belinda Woods-Galbreath's page! Role: School Counselor Hi,
I am Belinda Woods-Galbreath, one of the counselors at Lange Middle School. I am in my eleventh year here at Lange. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. I taught in the Chicago Public Schools for 16 years before becoming a school counselor. I graduated from Chicago State University with my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I attended and graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with my master’s in Early Childhood Education, Organization and Leadership Administration and Counseling. I served in the Illinois Army National Guard for six years.
I am married to my husband Marshall Galbreath, who is from Columbia, Missouri. We enjoy cooking, relaxing, traveling and making memories.
I enjoy working and helping others. This has been a passion of mine and the reason I went into Education. My goal is to see that ALL students have an equal opportunity and be successful with the supports needed in their academics, personal/social emotions, and careers explorations. I look forward to meeting each one of you and build great relationships.
