I have lived in Columbia, MO since 1996 and worked in the mental health field since 1998. I began with the Columbia Public School District in 2012 and am proud to work in a school with such dedicated staff and amazing students. I provide individual, crisis,  and group counseling in the school setting  in addition to  family consultation and mediation between students when needed. Contact me anytime about community resources, referrals, and mental health issues.

In the Fall of 2016, I began sponsoring HOPE Club here at RBHS. Our goals are to raise awareness of mental health issues, augment emotional and mental health for students in our school by promoting kindness, and work on suicide prevention efforts. We will also be planning events for Reality Week in March of 2017 to encourage overall healthy life choices.

My favorite way to spend my time is with my family and friends. My daughter is 7 and amazing. We love to go to the park, play in the water, sing, dance, cook, read, watch movies, hoola-hoop, yo-yo, draw, and be silly.  We recently learned to roller skate and have enjoyed weekend mornings at Empire Roller Rink this Winter. She is pictured with me above at Betty's Pie's in Minnesota where we love to spend time in the Summer.
