I have lived in Columbia, MO since 1996 and worked in the mental health field since 1998. I began with the Columbia Public School District in 2012 and am proud to work in a school with such dedicated staff and amazing students. I provide individual, crisis, and group counseling in the school setting in addition to family consultation and mediation between students when needed. Contact me anytime about community resources, referrals, and mental health issues.
In the Fall of 2016, I began sponsoring HOPE Club, now dubbed CIA (Compassion in Action) here at RBHS. Our goals are to augment emotional and mental health for students in our school by promoting kindness. We work with Columbia's very own Children's Grove
and are proud to promote inclusion, respect, and empathy at RBHS and beyond.
My favorite way to spend my time is with my family and friends. My daughter is 10 and amazing. She embraces life and has infused my world with countless blessings. She is pictured with me above at Betty's Pie's in Minnesota on Lake Superior, where we love to spend time in the Summer. (She's much bigger/older now and my hair is much more gray! I need to update that pic!)
