Description: Central Methodist University Go Away to College Close to Home Program would offer a 50% tuition waiver to all non-curricular accepted Howard, Cooper, Saline and Boone County Students who meet or exceed the 52.5 index score and are A+ eligible. The index is calculated based on high school grade point average and standardized test scores. Students may live on campus or at home with their parent or guardian. This scholarship may not be combined with any other CMU scholarship offer.
 
Eligibility:  • Meet or exceed a 52.5 index score. The index is calculated based on high school grade point average (weighted or unweighted) and standardized test scores. (GPA x ACT=INDEX) • Be Missouri A+ Eligible • Attend high school in Howard, Cooper, Saline or Boone County.

Description: The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. This one-of-a-kind scholarship may be used at any accredited college or university in the U.S.!
 
Eligibility:  Coolidge Scholars are selected based primarily on academic excellence. Secondary criteria include: an interest in public policy, an appreciation for and understanding of the values President Coolidge championed, as well as humility and service.

Description: Each year our Agribusiness and Bioscience committee, on behalf of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and the Fair Missouri Foundation awards one scholarship to a deserving high school senior in Boone County who plans on pursuing an agricultural or bioscience related degree next fall.
 
Eligibility:  Applicants must be a graduating senior of a Boone County, MO public or private high school and plan to enter into an agricultural or bioscience related field. They must also plan to attend a higher-education institution, college or university either located in Boone County or that is a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce – Central Methodist University, Columbia College, Moberly Area Community College, Stephens College or the University of Missouri.

Scholarship Name:  Paxton Keeley Scholarship

Description: The Paxton Keeley PTA offers a $500.00 (Five hundred dollar) scholarship as a way to congratulate our former students on their graduation from high school. The money is intended to be used for their continuing education in college or technical school.
 
Eligibility:  1. The applicant must have attended Mary Paxton Keeley Elementary School for at least one full school year during their K-5th grade years. 2. Applicant must be a high school senior at Hickman, Rock Bridge, Battle and/or Douglas High School. 3. Applicant must submit the application along with an essay entitled “What Paxton Keeley Meant to Me”.

Send us a one-page summary (because you’ve got better things to do than write some lengthy essay about the things you’ve already done!) Eligibility:  Scholarship recipient must be enrolled full-time for two subsequent semesters to quality. Recipient will be selected by the owner and a small selection community of Rocket Scientry LLC dba Plato’s Closet. Scholarship amount will be paid in the form of two $500 reimbursements of the purchase of textbooks (hopefully used!) during the subsequent fall and spring semesters.
