• 2018 Summer School

    June 4 - June 28, 2018
    Tuition Free Programs:
    • Columbia Summer SUNsation offers free summer school sessions for students.  Programs are available for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. 
      • February 12:   Enrollment for EEE-Elementary, ELL, and Fun City opens.  
        • Student's EEE or ELL teacher will provide families with paper enrollment forms.
      • February 12:  Online registration opens at 9:00 a.m. for students entering grades K-8.  Paper copies will be available in school offices.
    •  Early Childhood Special Education
    • The English Language Learner summer program provides support for students to continue English language instruction and participate in other regular classes.  
    • Gifted Education (EEE) for grades 2-5 for students enrolled in the EEE Gifted Program.
    • Gifted Education (EEE) for grades 6-8 for students enrolled in the EEE Gifted Program.
    • MAC Scholars Summer Opportunities
    • Secondary Choral and Instrumental Music, grades 7 - 9 program provides choir, orchestra and band courses for secondary students entering grades 7 - 9.
    • Secondary Summer School enrollment begins Tuesday, February 6, 2018
      • The online enrollment option opens at 9:00 a.m.  Parents must have a Home Access account to use the online option found at www.cpsk12.org/ssenroll.  In previous years only parents could enroll students in credit advancement courses online through Home Access.  This year we are allowing students entering grades 10-12 to access the online enrollment option, but 9th graders still are enrolled by their parents.
      • Paper copies of the registration guide and enrollment form materials will be available in the school counseling office for those who choose not to use the online enrollment option.
      • Counselors will work with students who need to enroll in credit recovery courses.
      • Non CPS students wishing to enroll in Secondary Summer School should contact Ann Landes for information and to request documents needed.
    • Special Education Extended School Year grades K-12 (ESY)  


    Fee-based Programs:

    • Camp Invention is a tuition-based for students entering grades 1-5.
    • Columbia Area Career Center Summer Camp for Youth is a tuition-based program for youth ages 10 to 14.
    • Columbia Summer Enrichment Program is a tuition-based program for students entering kindergarten through grade 8.  During this three week session students participate in courses selected from a wide variety of offerings.  Enrollment begins March 1, 2018.
    • Columbia Summer Enrichment Preschool is a tuition-based program available for students between the ages of 3 and 5. Enrollment begins March 1, 2018.     FULL 
    • FUN City Youth Academy provides afternoon programming to students in grades 1-5.  Columbia Public Schools complements this offering by providing free CPS Summer SUNsation programming in the mornings.
  • 2018 MU Adventure Club 

    Full Day/Before School/After School Summer Program Opportunities

    Adventure Club is an extended day program for school-age students delivered by the University of Missouri-College of Education.  Adventure Club provides a supervised before- and/or after-school program.  This tuition based-program requires a non-refundable registration fee.
    K-5 Adventure Club enrollment opens on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.
