    Hola estimados padres y estudiantes,

My name is Nichol Einsiedel, more formally known as Señorita E, Ms. Einsiedel, or Ms. E. This will be my 9th year teaching teaching Spanish and my second year at Battle High School. I previously taught at Oakland Middle School for 4 years where I taught Spanish, co-taught Mandarin Chinese (3 years), and was the AVID Coordinator (2 years). I also taught in a rural community as the only Spanish teacher for 4 years. I've been so excited to work here at Battle as I finally get to see some of my former students grow up, as well as building new relationships with other students.

I have a true passion for teaching and traveling. I have traveled to 7 different countries in Central America and Europe. In college, I studied abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica. I'm hoping that I'll be able to travel some more in the future as I still have so many places to check off of my list. While I do not have any children (yet), I do have a very spoiled 2 year old pitbull named Jasmine, affectionately known as Jazzie. I enjoy spending time with her, working at my second job getting to help military veterans, and relaxing in my free time.

In my classes, students will have a variety of ways to practice the language. I will try to provide many diverse opportunities for students to speak, read, write, and listen to Spanish. Also, since language and culture can not be separated, I create activities for students to be able to learn about the rich cultures of many Spanish-speaking countries.

I look forward to a very interesting and exciting 2020-2021 school year!

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I'm here for you and your student(s)!

    Sinceramente,

    Señorita E
