OVER 1/3 OF OUR JUNIORS ARE STILL NEEDING THEIR
STATE REQUIRED MENINGITIS VACCINE.
ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
Attention Junior Parents: Below is information concerning the meningitis vaccine requirement for students preparing to enter the 12th grade. If your child has received the meningitis vaccine, please send proof of the immunization to the Hickman High School nurses (ttrim@cpsk12.org or rblake@cpsk12.org) or have the health care provider fax the immunization record to the school nurses at 214-3064.
For all incoming 12th grade students, two doses of meningitis vaccine (MCV) are required unless the first dose was administered at age 16 or over, in which case only one dose will be required.
The first and second doses of this vaccine must be separated by 8 weeks.
The second dose must be administered after age 16.

INFINITE CAMPUS IS COMING TO CPS IN 2023-24!
An exciting change to how you will access your student’s grades, schedules, and more is coming next year! Columbia Public Schools is switching to a new student information system called Infinite Campus, replacing Home Access Center (HAC). This new system gives you access to all the same things, in a more streamlined and user-friendly tool. There is nothing you need to do now; more information and instructions on next steps for families will be sent throughout the summer. In the meantime, watch the Infinite Campus Parent Video to learn more!
Purdue University Engineering is offering a virtual short course this summer for advanced students in grades 9-12 who have had Algebra and show an interest in Machine Learning.
