Rock Bridge High School students earn top honors in state stock market game

Two teams from Rock Bridge High School placed third and sixth in the State of Missouri Stock Market Game.  More than 900 teams participated in the state-wide competition.  The Stock Market Game allows students to participate in a real-time stock market simulations, practice skills in math, language arts, economics and social studies while investing a fictional $100,000 in the stock market for ten weeks.  The winning teams are: Third place - (earned 5.7 percent profit in 10 weeks): Spencer Nivens, David Gysbers, and Hunter Manes.  Sixth place winners (earned 4.2 percent profit in ten weeks): Leo Zhuang, Seth Hodder, and Andrew Baggett.  Team sponsor is Personal Finance Teacher Susan Lidholm.
