Three Rock Bridge High School students earn honors in national essay competition

Three Rock Bridge High School students have earned honorable mention recognition in the Stossel in the Classroom national essay contest. 

Stossel in the Classroom, a project of the non-profit Center for Indpendent Thought, provides free curriculum materials and assistance to teachers featuring video clips from journalist John Stossel. Students were asked to write an essage examining minimum wage laws and the impact they have on employees, employers, and the economy.

Approximately 2,000 essays were submitted from students across North America.  Eighty-seven essays were chosen for recognition.  

Honorable mention winners are Jacob Shaw, Andrew Pullen and Kaylee Sands.  Teacher is Susan Lidholm.
