Stossel in the Classroom annual essay contest winners
Stossel in the Classroom announced the winners of its annual essay contest. Taisheng Li and Isaiah Spellman, students from Rock Bridge High School, were each awarded Honorable Mention and a prize of $50 for their efforts. The students were asked to write an essay examining income inequality in America. There were over 8,000 essays submitted by students across the United States with only 125 of those essays chosen as prize winners. Taisheng and Isaiah completed this essay at the request of Susan Lidholm, their AP Economics teacher.
