On Tuesday, March 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., parents are invited to attend a free special event regarding digital safety for students. Columbia Public Schools' U Matter program, in conjunction with the Youth Community Coalition and Columbia College, is hosting a parent seminar to learn more about the issues and tools needed to address digital safety with their children.
Topics will include cyberbullying, sexting, poor social media behavior, establishing usage guidelines and consequences, and many other cyber issues many may not yet be aware of.
We hope you can join us for an evening to learn more about how to prepare our students for the digital world.
