The Columbia Area Career Center will host a lasagna fundraiser to help send students to the SkillsUSA national contest in Louisville, Kentucky. Lasagna will be available hot and ready to eat, or frozen to save and eat later, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the Columbia Area Career Center, 4203 S. Providence Road. If you'd like to attend, please complete the order form, which is due to the Career Center by Friday, May 8.
Students attending the national contest include Coulter Tilton and Lenore Riley (3-D Visualization and Animation); David Biccum, Darwin Roberson, and Hunter Wagner (CPS: Science, Technology, and Math); Jacob Knerr (Commercial Baking); and Jerry Jo (Culinary Arts). Proceeds from the fundraiser will pay for transportation and help with lodging and other expenses in Louisville.
