CPS Planetarium July public shows

On the second Saturday in July, escape the heat of summer and travel into space with the CPS Planetarium.

At 2:00, the show will be Astronaut. Visitors will learn how astronauts train for outer space, as well as some of the dangers that await them on their journey. This show is good for elementary school-aged kids.

At 3:00, the show will be Hubble Vision. The Hubble Space Telescope has been in orbit for 25 years. This show gives a brief history of the telescope and then celebrates some of its many discoveries, from the planets of our solar system to the far reaches of the universe. This show is for more mature audiences.

A constellation tour is included in each presentation.

Doors open at 1:45 p.m.
