The 13th Judicial Circuit, in conjunction with the Juvenile Office, Robert L. Perry Juvenile Justice Center, Columbia Police Department, Boone County Sheriff's Department, Columbia Fire Department, Boone County Fire Protection District, Boone County Community Services, Columbia Public Schools, and Boone County Schools Mental Health Coalition invites area families to Youth Day on Saturday, August 8, at the Boone County Courthouse Plaza.
Youth Day is designed as a fun, family-oriented event that connects parents and kids with youth-oriented resources in the community, such as after-school activities, mentoring programs, parental support, counseling services, and drug prevention programs. The event features live music, free food, and family entertainment. Formal presentations will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers to discuss issues facing Boone County youth and the efforts being made to improve their lives and well-being.
Youth Day is Saturday, August 8, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Boone County Courthouse Plaza, located between the Boone County Courthouse and the Boone County Government Center.
