Rock Bridge's Emerald Regiment sweeps competition

Rock Bridge High School's Emerald Regiment marching band was named grand champion at the University of Missouri's Champion of Champions marching festival at Faurot Field in October. The Emerald Regiment had its two best performances of the marching season among some excellent bands from around the state. In preliminary competition, the band placed first in the 5A Black division and had the highest overall score going into finals competition. In the finals, the band took first place in all four caption awards: Best Music, Best Visual, Best Music General Effect, and Best Visual General Effect. The band earned the highest score in the competition and was named grand champion.
