Veterans Day essay contest winners (Posted 11/14/14)
Eight Columbia Public School District students are winners in the annual Veterans Day essay contest sponsored by the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital:
Winners in the middle school division are Tori Vanskike, Lange Middle School (first place); Kyle Bavlnka, Lange Middle School (second place); Aidan Yeager, Lange Middle School (third place); and Kaylee Faddis, Oakland Middle School (honorable mention.)
High school division winners are Kelley Tackett (first place); Madison Wright (second place); Allison Foster (third place); and Lisa Zhuang (honorable mention). All four are Rock Bridge High School students.
