Water testing report (Posted 09/20/16)

Over the summer months, Columbia Public Schools worked with a water testing laboratory to conduct voluntary lead and copper testing within its school buildings. There were more than 1,400 water samples from throughout the school district collected and tested for lead and copper. The results determined that the school district is well above required compliance guidelines set by the EPA's lead and copper rules as applied to public water supplies.
Individual school results and any precautionary measures taken at each school are available upon request.
