Two Gentry teachers selected to participate in National Geographic Institute (posted 5/17/17)
Gentry Middle School teachersJoy BessandKelsey Ehmkehave been selected by National Geographic and the Missouri Geographic Alliance to participate in the Geo-Inquiry Process Summer Institute. The institute will be held at National Geographic headquarters in Washington, DC, in June. Two middle school educators from each state were selected to train to be National Geographic Certified Educators. Through this training they will also become Geo-Inquiry Ambassadors for Missouri and will implement the Geo-Inquiry process in their classrooms next school year.
