CPS Planetarium January public shows (Posted 1/4/17)
Columbia Public Schools Planetarium is offering two favorites for the first public shows of the new year--and in January, these shows are on the first Saturday of the month.
The Magic Tree House Space Mission show is geared to younger audiences and provides visitors with a delightful mix of animation and live action as Jack and Annie (from the Magic Tree House series of books) use the tree house to learn about outer space. Magic Tree House Space Mission will be shown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7.
Hubble Vision is a show dedicated to the Hubble Space Telescope and talks about several of its many discoveries. Hubble Vision is geared toward older audiences and will be shown at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 7.

Reservations for planetarium shows are encouraged. To reserve seats, visit http://cpsplanetarium.org. Planetarium shows are free, although donations of $2.00 per person are encouraged. If weather is bad, cancellation notices will be posted on the planetarium's website.
CPS Planetarium is located within Rock Bridge High School at 4303 S. Providence Road in Columbia. The planetarium is open for public shows on the second Saturday of each month. During the school year, groups can reserve a weekday show by phone, (573) 214-3148, or via email.
