The National School Public Relations Association recently recognized Columbia Public Schools with several national communication awards.
Columbia Public Schools and the Community Relations Department received four of the 84 Golden Achievement Awards, which recognize outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communications, marketing and engagement.
The awards are in the categories of PR Education TV/video/podcasting programs, District Financial Aid and Budget Transparency, Digital Learning Initiatives and Community Outreach and Public Engagement.
The Community Relations Department also received four Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards, which recognize outstanding education publications, e-newsletters, digital media programs, marketing materials, videos, social media, websites and more.
The awards are in the categories of Annual Report, Infographic and Video (produced in-house).
