The Home Grown Internship Program position has been posted!

The Home Grown Internship Program was created to increase diversity in the district and is used as a recruitment tool for black and brown students who are interested in becoming educators.  It is our ultimate goal that these students will choose to stay and work within the district to teach.  However, the Home Grown Internship Program is not exclusively for minority students and we welcome all applicants. This program is an excellent opportunity for students to be exposed to the world of education.

Students must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, 90% or more attendance rate and no more than two days of out of school suspension.

This position pays $10 per hour and is the entire summer school day. The grade range for this internship position is 8th-11th grade.
