Fun Facts from the Media Center:  The 1999 Disney Channel original movie Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, the main character, a teen girl who lives on a space station in the year 2049 was placed by Kirsten Storms. The film was followed by 2 sequels.

 

Today is Pickle Day. Go to the JMS media center Schoology course and tell us your favorite type of pickle or a food that needs to have pickles added. Mr. Barnes is a big fan of pickles!

This week the 6th and 7th graders will be turning in their iPads. Please get photos backed up and if you are NOT returning to CPS, you will need to also return the charging brick and cord. Have iPads fully charged when you check them in with the media center

 

Want to finish off the year with a fun movie with your friends? Student council is hosting a movie night on Friday, May 20th after school from 3:00pm to 5:45 pm. We will have concessions and a special performance from Drona, a local band of current and former JMS students before the movie starts. Tickets will be $2 each. Limited space is available, so get yours now!! Student Council will be selling tickets in front of the main office each morning until tickets run out. See Mr. Gerskin in room 221 if you have any questions.
