B Day

 

Fun Facts from the Media Center:  Fifty to seventy-five percent of cats have a reaction to catnip. Catnip is a plant and it is a trait that is believed to be passed down from cats to their kittens.

 

Today is National Pack Rat Day. Go to the JMS media center Schoology course and tell us who is the biggest pack rat you know.  (This means someone who saves EVERYTHING.) Is there something really weird they save?

Return media center books. We still have A LOT of books that are overdue.  Get them returned.

7th grade iPads turned in tomorrow. 7th grade your iPads should be fully charged when returning them.

 

Want to finish off the year with a fun movie with your friends? Student council is hosting a movie night on Friday, May 20th after school from 3:00pm to 5:45 pm. We will have concessions and a special performance from Drona, a local band of current and former JMS students before the movie starts. Tickets will be $2 each. Limited space is available, so get yours now!! Student Council will be selling tickets in front of the main office each morning until tickets run out. See Mr. Gerskin in room 221 if you have any questions.

 

iPads should be updated to 15.3 when they are returned to the media center.  The update takes about 25 minutes and needs an iPad to be more than 50% charged.  7th graders- you will need to have this update completed by tomorrow.

 

Students who have a locker…you need to have your lockers cleaned out and locks returned to guidance by Friday of this week.  Any locks left on as of Friday will be removed and the lockers will be emptied.
