B Day

Fun Facts from the Media Center:  The milkshake made it into the mainstream when in 1922 a Walgreens employee in Chicago, Ivar “Pop” Coulson, took an old-fashioned malted milk (milk, chocolate, and malt) and added two scoops of ice cream, creating a drink which became popular at a surprising rate, soon becoming a high-demand drink for young adults around the country.

Today is Turtle Day. Today we celebrate slow!

Today (5/23)

There are no more activity buses!

No clubs are meeting today

All 8th graders are returning iPads, bricks and chargers tomorrow.  Please have iPads updated to 15.3.2 and fully charged. Save pics in advance.

The JMS Robotics teams will host a “Make Sale” before school on Wednesday.  From 7 – 7:30 am you can stop by and shop our selection of 3D-printed fidget toys, JMS trinkets, JMS coloring books, and freshly baked cookies and treats.  All items will be $1 to $5 and there is a $5 spending limit.    So bring a little cash for Wednesday morning to support our robotics teams!

Great News! Our Cyclone Artists have been hard at work creating and designing our very own Cyclone STEAM coloring book! They look AMAZING! I am so proud of the artists that participated! The Art Studio is selling coloring books for 1$ before and afterschool while supplies last. Grab one while you can! What a great way to relax this summer!

8th graders…listen carefully…if you have a current physical on file in the office and you want it for high school sports, you must pick it up in the main office before the end of the year.  They will not be sent along to the high school for you, you must pick them up from Ms. Hagan in the office.
